Why I'm in the Venus Network
I'd like to meet other business women and develop my business . I've recently moved to Auckland and would like to expand both my social and business network. My point of difference
I have a really good knowledge of most medical conditions and know how and what I can treat safely to help someone feel better.Having years of experience as both a registered nurse and massage therapist enables me to treat people who may be nervous about having a massage treatment. I have extra training and years of experience massaging people with a range of different conditions, including cancer. I've worked with many people in many settings from intensive care to the end of the marathon!
I also have a great deal of empathy for those whose bodies are letting them down. Having been a patient myself (knee replacement etc) I understand what it's like to have to do regular "maintenance" on your own body to keep it going. Massage therapy can be extremely helpful with pre-habilitation as well as recovery - and let's face it, it makes you feel so much better!
My latest business news
I've just completed part one of my Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) course and will be offering this service from December 2024.MLD is most well known as a treatment for people who have had breast cancer, but it is increasingly used for a wide range of other conditions including acute sports injuries, chronic pain and migraines.
